What it is about
The first film followed Chandra Bose, a police officer whose father turned out to be a long-buried undercover spy. That film ran on the gap between the two men and on a plot about contaminated consumer products.
The sequel keeps the same shape. Karthi plays two roles again, and the film is once more built around espionage rather than straightforward police work.
S. J. Suryah joins as the antagonist, a character called Black Dagger. On paper that is the most interesting piece of casting here โ he has spent the last few years playing exactly this kind of oversized, watchable villain.
What to look out for
Facts about the film, not predictions about whether it is any good.
๐ Likely for you if

- โขKarthi fans, particularly for the dual role
- โขS. J. Suryah in villain mode
- โขBig-screen Tamil spy action rather than a quiet thriller
๐ Probably not if
