Box Office Collection — New Indian Movies, Day by Day

Day-wise India net box office collection for new Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam releases, checked every day. Each film has its own page with the daily numbers, seats filled and a language-wise split.

The figures are estimates from a trade tracker, not producer announcements, and the newest day is marked live until it settles.

Looking for the biggest films of the year?

This page follows new releases day by day. For the highest-grossing Indian films of 2026 across the whole year, see the top films and regional box office page. That list uses worldwide gross, which is a different number from the India net shown here.

Common questions

Where do these box office numbers come from?

From Sacnilk, a trade tracker that compiles collection reports from cinemas and the trade. No official body publishes Indian box office, so every figure anywhere is an estimate. Each film page links to the exact tracker page it was read from.

Why do the numbers change during the day?

Cinemas report in stages, so a big film’s figure can rise by several crore between the afternoon and the evening of release day. Anything still moving is marked live, and we replace it with the tracker’s final figure once it is published.

What does India net mean?

Net is what is left of the ticket price after tax comes off. It is smaller than gross and much smaller than a worldwide figure. Indian reports usually quote net.

Which films are covered?

Every film we have a page for, for about five weeks after release, whenever the tracker publishes figures for it. If a film is missing, the tracker has no numbers for it yet.

Why do other websites show a bigger number?

Often they are quoting gross instead of net, or worldwide instead of India, or a producer’s announcement instead of a tracker’s estimate. These are different measures of the same film.
